Most sleep yet - 5 hours without interruption! They came in early to take a blood sample. The nurse forgot to do one vial, so she had to use another needle :(
After breakfast, we went downstairs to have another chest X-Ray. The wheelchair ride was good for her. She can't wait to get out on more walks. The Dr. said that if things continue to go this well, then she can be discharged tomorrow afternoon!
He also wanted the pace wires removed (temporary wires hooked to the muscle tissue of the heart in case a pace maker is needed). These ended up being very painful coming out. Right up there with the 11 inch chest tube that recently came out. This took some wind out of her sails. She also has to be monitored closely for the next few hours (stuck in bed again) :(
She was looking forward to getting out of bed more today. Then her IV quit working, so they had to do a new one (more needles in new places) :(
After lunch, and a deserved nap - we went on a much longer walk. Juliann is getting more of her strength back each day.
To cheer her up, we opened a care package from Chris... Here is what it said. "After what you've just been through, I SAW this and thought of you. Get well"!
...Thanks Chris, now she hurts from laughing!
After dinner, another longer walk. Juliann noticed the Angel Moroni on the Temple. So we took a couple of pictures by the window.
Today has been up and down, but mostly up. Thanks again to everyone who has helped us in so many different ways.

Juli-
